The Pop-Up Artisan Market is a whole new venture. An online space for creative businesses based here in the Costa Brava to promote and sell their work to a wider audience. Particularly during these difficult times when the usual places like Arts and Crafts Markets and Events are cancelled and people who would normally buy their unique and original pieces for themselves, their friends and their families from independent traders have few means of seeking them out. Its been running since November last year and we are gradually building a following and adding to our traders all the time. Do get in touch if you think this is for you!

The Pop-Up is back!

After a year long hiatus I have restarted the Pop-Up here in the Ebro. Unfortunately a year of illness and hospital stays meant I had to put Tea and Toast and the Pop-Up into storage while I recovered. Still on the mend but to celebrate my recovery I am taking part in this event in Tortosa this weekend with three other lovely crafty people.

We will be representing the United Kingdom with the Best of British Traditional and Contemporary Arts and Crafts. Between us we will be displaying and selling

Apothecary and Crystal Healing products
Wood turned jewellry
Knitted, crocheted and macrame items
Textile art incorporating vintage fabrics, embroidery and collage
Card craft
Jewellery using sea glass, vintage beads, leather, found items with gold and silver
Digital Arts – tshirts and printed canvas bags

These are just a few of the items that will be on sale. I will take more on the day.

The event includes stalls from international crafters representing different countries, there will be childrens activities, demonstrations, music and entertainment and food stalls selling international food.

I promise to take lots of photos and update on how it went.
