Bouquets, bridesmaids and boutonierres
All bouquets, posies and boutonnieres are bespoke and designed by me working closely with the bride. Each flower is handmade using a variety of rich fabrics to a pattern which I have created.
Andy and Lucy’s winter wedding in the City of London. A bouquet of handmade velvet flowers, velvet covered buttons with detailing in gold wire and seed beads. The design was based on the cloisonné brooch used to decorate the velvet and gold wrapped handle. Buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen used handcrafted velvet leaves and velvet covered buttons, corsages for the ladies included a cloisonné brooch with velvet covered buttons and leaves and the bridesmaids each had a headpiece of handcrafted velvet flowers and buttons.
Michelle and Gareth got married in North Wales. A bouquet of peonies and wild flowers including yellow welsh poppies, delphinium, roses, fern, daisies and white tulips. With pearl and glass beads, silver wire, opal and a collection of vintage brooches. Including the pearlized and glass brooch used on the bridal lace handle which picked out the colours of the flowers. Flowers were made with a mixture of satin, silk and silk georgette, 
Colette – a handtied bouquet of silk and fabric peonies, lavender and eucalyptus with vintage crystal beads and brooches, wrapped in vintage lace with vintage ribbon and finished with a vintage silver plate locket, 
Buttercups and Daisies, handcrafted flowers in silk and satin, with buttons, pearls and vintage cut glass beads. Finished with white linen, satin ribbon and a vintage brooch.
A bouquet of satin and silk roses and rosebuds with echoes of art nouveau style in the deep burnt orange dupion silk rose for this Scottish wedding. Sprinkled with faceted Swarovski crystal beads and little butterflies from a vintage necklace. Finished with satin leaves, ribbon handle and a vintage brooch.
Elizabeth, a handtied bouquet handcrafted in dupion silk, silk georgette and satin with beaded flowers and vintage lace and finished with a vintage style watch fob. The bridal bag made with beaded bridal lace, satin roses and a vintage brooch.
Camille, a bouquet of white camillias in satin and silk georgette, with centres of pearl beads, crystal and vintage brooches. Surrounded by a halo of vintage pearl buttons, the underside of the bouquet features leaves and a handle in cream striped French ticking wrapped with satin ribbon and finished with vintage pearl buttons. The bridesmaids posies used blue satin in the camillias to match their dresses.
Anabella and Martyn’s Eastbourne wedding featured lots of vintage touches including transport on a vintage double decker bus. Anabella’s bouquet included pink ranunculus in satin and silk georgette, lace roses and packed with lots of vintage buttons and sparkles. The handle and skirt wrapped in cream satin and lace and finished with a vintage silver and cream cameo brooch. Martyn’s buttonhole and the chief bridesmaids corsage echoed these details in miniature.
Periwinkle in shades of lilac made for a Catalan bride from vintage lace, satin, silks, cotton pique and broderie anglais. Lilac chosen to match the sash on the brides elegant gown,
Damson Jam, a handtied bouquet framed with green satin banana leaves, full of vintage buttons, crystal and pearl beads. Roses and rosebuds in white satin and silk georgette and plum anemones in dupion silk with centres of amethyst cut glass beads.
Grace, a single magnolia flower in white crushed silk and beaded bridal lace with a centre of Swarovski crystal, finished with large green wired satin leaves sprinkled with glass bead raindrops, a beaded silk and satin handle and beaded bows.
Cream Tea, my very first sample bouquet! A mix of satin, silk, linen roses, beads, buttons and pearls, maribou feathers and finished with a vintage brooch.
