Christmas Fair – Posters

Who doesn’t love Christmas? For some though it can be a lonely time, especially if you are living away from family and friends so these sort of events are a real community event. People get involved at all sorts of levels, raising funds to enable the church to provide its service here on the Costa Brava. From craft workshops to manning the stalls, collecting bottles for the tombolla or serving bacon butties in the cafe.

I was lucky enough to work with some really kind and caring people during my stint and to give you a flavour of the fairs we presented here are a selection of the posters that were used to engage stallholders and visitors. We grew the fair from a dozen church stalls to over 40 artists and artisans selling their wares, loads of entertainment and a traditional Christmas Cafe brought in over 400 visitors.

My role was as part of the Events Committee to manage recruitment of stallholders, marketing and providing craft workshops for parishioners to make christmas cards and decorations to sell, some you can see in a previous post.
