Elizabeth an Heirloom Bouquet

It is really difficult to say any one particular heirloom bouquet is my favourite because each is completely and utterly unique. Made to capture the brides thoughts. This particular bouquet was made for an Edwardian bridal photoshoot. It was made with silk georgette and raw silk peonies, white flowers with pearl centres and handbeaded bridal lace flowers, muscari grape hyacinth made from tiny seed beads, machine embroidered ivy and leaves in satin. All handtied with vintage lace, satin ribbon and a period time piece. To complement the bouquet I made a handembroidered purse, lined with satin and vintage lace with a pearl handle, tiny satin roses and a vintage brooch. The whole ensemble was beautifully packaged in a hatbox to deliver it safely to its destination. The process of designing a bouquet and accessories takes time and much of that is discussing with the bride, creating mood boards, collecting images of and sharing samples of fabrics so that I am able to capture that magic that takes something from an idea to a finished bouquet. From start to finish this can take anything from 1 to 3 months. For every flower that I design I take the original flower from nature and disassemble it and make a pattern then recreate it. In addition to using vintage and luxury fabrics and vintage jewellery I can include fabrics and pieces of jewellery that are important to you. As well as bridal bouquets, I make bridesmaids flowers, corsage and buttonholes, cake toppers and celebration flowers in containers for other special occasions. Each so that the recipient has a long lasting keepsake of a special event.

I am taking orders for late summer and spring/summer 2022. If you would like to create your own piece of history please contact me.
