Fires de Sant Narcis

The biggest event of the year for our lovely city of Girona starts tomorrow.

All week people have come together to put up the barraques in Devesa for the asssociations, the big stage is finally looking out over the park ready for the bands and the big wheel is up and just waiting to be lit up, yes the Fair is winding through the trees and filling up the park.

There will be ten days of late nights, street food, street markets, carre foc, music and fireworks. Which means that this little lady is going to be taking this weekend off to spend time with my lovely bloke and letting my hair down.

Then my niece and her bloke arrive midweek so expect I’ll be carousing next weekend too! I’ll be back with photos don’t you worry, in the meantime fins després! {see you later!}
