Leopard Print

Always had a bit of a thing for animal print and own more than a few tops of different styles and shoes, latest spring purchase was a pair of cowhide moccasins from M&S, if there is one thing they do well its flatties, extremely comfortable flatties and that is me these days a comfortable flattie! They are dressy enough to wear, well, with a dress and smart for an evening outfit but equally at home with cropped leggings and a big t for daytime meanderings.

Today I went over to Yours, another favourite brand for the larger lass like me. Admittedly their winter online catalogue is a bit too party frock for my lifestyle these days and I do shy away from satins because I feel like you can see every lump and bump but that’s just me. What I did find was a whole zoo of animal print.

EDIT: Well that was a complete disaster. I won’t bore you with the details but I don’t recommend ordering from Yours Spanish site after my awful experience. Ordered the items you see in the image on 11 November, followed the tracking and they seem to go all over the place except to me, even through customs, which is odd as the whole purpose of having a Spanish site was to have the products already in europe to avoid those delays. Long story short the people in Customer Service made no effort to follow up any of my queries and the UK Facebook page did their best but their promise of the goods arriving that very afternoon were a fiction, the goods were for some unknown reason returned to the company and I was given a full refund. Except I wasn’t I was given a partial refund and had to chase the rest. When all I wanted really was the aforementioned and pictured items. Very disappointing as I like the brand generally and have bought many things in the UK on visits.  Won’t be ordering again too stressful. Left a review on Trustpilot and they had the cheek to put an automated (much used) reply on my complaint identical to all the other automated replies on similar complaints. Wish I had checked Trustpilot before ordering! I suspect and told them it is their delivery agents DPD (SEUR) who made such a cock up they have a poor reputation here, they must be cheaper because if it was my company I would definitely look at my supply chain model and replace them with a better more organised company.

Wore my new grey suede boots out last night, teamed with an oversized black, white and grey lumberjack shirt, a big black cardi and leggings. First outing for the boots. As I have some new black ones on order I thought a brown pair might be a better mix and found these nice chunky biker style boots which are right on trend with the long frock look this year. I threw in another leopard print shorter tunic and a graphite grey big t with light metal studs and a star design (you know I have a few star studded long line tops from last year) am not a fan of logo or words on t’s but I do like a star!

Need to review my coat and jacket wardrobe to see what goes well over these. I also have a couple of nice brown leather satchel type courier bags that will go well with the boots.

Next shop though will have to concentrate on Christmas pressies if I want to be getting them under the tree in time for the big day.
