Summer into Autumn

e510c43aad39b86b206ff14b22d73edbThe whole transitioning thing from summer to autumn is something I rather enjoy. Am not ready for woolly jumpers and boots and I want to cling to those natural fabrics like linen for a bit longer. I have more than a few linen dresses in black and neutrals which I’ll continue to wear but I might add a t-shirt, a cardi or a thin jacket. I love this long sleeved black linen dress from Megby Design on Etsy. It’s sold out but check out the listing for similar. I have the self same bag that I use for the beach and some leopard print pumps which would give me the look.3172dce84af40bd14cf1af5e9aebbfe5

Talking about leopard print am head over heels for these Stella McCartney frames, at the top end of my price range but am seriously tempted!0107e8e60aacf3e3cc111280c4a02a18

Instead of pumps am plumping for plumptious suede tassled loafers I think these will carry me nicely through to boot weather.391d8a1e699134ca6fd4d63459feeab9

Lightweight linen scarves are a good way to keep those chilly evenings at bay333d920768c7cac5f5d1e18705f059b9

Not all accessories have to come at a price, I picked this leather satchel from a Brocanters market for 5euro, it was a bit grubby but has got its supple shine back with a tub of shoe polish and a bit of elbow grease.a5cff23d4d52887c817eb8b720c0a404

I’m not mourning the end of summer, there are still warm days ahead and I like the cosiness of autumn, I can always find a piece of jewellery that lets me believe every season has its plus points.
