Tea Cosies

I love a cuppa, my tipple is an Earl Grey no milk just as it comes. Nothing keeps your cuppa going better than a cosy teapot.

Am loving the trend for dressing up your teapot so thought I would give it a go myself. As I am not the fastest knitter I chose to crochet using some oddments of wool I had accumulated. Crochet is also much easier to shape as you go along vital for the lumps and bumps, curves and handles and spouts that make up your average teapot.h20

My first was this fetching green number a garden full of flowers.h14

Next I went the whole country cottage, fronth12

Christmas was fast approaching so it seemed to me the ideal time to make some as stock for my Christmas stall at the craft fair. The pudding, the snowman and the bobble hat swiftly followed. Not forgetting the cupcake key rings made using the last of the bits of wool.
